Yard work, chore & handyman volunteers
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Yard Work or Chore & Handyman Volunteer!

What You'll Be Doing
  • Volunteers go to a Neighbor's home to do an initial assessment and may need to advise the Neighbor on supplies needed
  • Volunteers may need to purchase supplies but should keep the receipt to give to the Neighbor for reimbursement
  • Volunteers may not accept any form of payment, tips or gifts in exchange for their volunteer service
​Common Job Requests
  • ​Light yard work
  • Installing grab bars
  • Changing light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries
  • Fixing leaky faucets

Qualifications
  • Must be age 21 or older
  • Must have reliable vehicle with current driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Must have a desire to assist seniors and adults with disabilities!
Time Commitment
  • There is no required time commitment. Jobs are scheduled on an as-needed basis as members call to request services. You may accept as many jobs per month as your schedule allows.​
