What You'll Be Doing
Volunteers go to a Neighbor's home to do an initial assessment and may need to advise the Neighbor on supplies needed
Volunteers may need to purchase supplies but should keep the receipt to give to the Neighbor for reimbursement
Volunteers may not accept any form of payment, tips or gifts in exchange for their volunteer service
Common Job Requests
Light yard work
Installing grab bars
Changing light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries
Fixing leaky faucets
Qualifications
Must be age 21 or older
Must have reliable vehicle with current driver’s license and auto insurance
Must have a desire to assist seniors and adults with disabilities!
Time Commitment
There is no required time commitment. Jobs are scheduled on an as-needed basis as members call to request services. You may accept as many jobs per month as your schedule allows.
