Since 1998, Aging Resources of Douglas County has been providing seniors with tools, programs, services, and education that help live their best lives. We are passionate about empowering aging residents of Douglas County by improving quality of life, promoting independence, and giving the confidence to thrive.
We do this by connecting volunteers—people just like you—with seniors who need their help.

Joining the ARDC Neighbor Network
Our Neighbor Network is the ‘secret sauce’ that provides Douglas County seniors with a whole host of valuable services and personalized assistance. For volunteers who want to maximize the benefit, they have for the people they’re helping, joining the Aging Resources of Douglas County Neighbor Network is a great idea.
The best part is that joining is easy! Just complete the Application to Volunteer, and a member of our staff will be in touch with you to go over the next steps.

Another great feature of being a Neighbor Network volunteer is that you get access to a Volunteer Manager Director who is available to answer all of your questions. Have a unique talent or skill that you think could be used to help a senior in Douglas County? Great! You can work with your Volunteer Manager to pursue whatever volunteer work feels most suitable for you.
