We let our volunteers choose how much or how little time they want to commit in any given month. That could be a single hour, or it could be 100 hours :)

Whatever works for you!

THERE ARE SO MANY BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEERING!

Training and Personal Development opportunities. When you’re a part of our volunteer program, your ongoing education and personal improvement are high priorities for us. We connect you with the people and resources you need to grow and improve at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Online tools for finding assignments. We’ve invested heavily in the technology needed to make volunteering easy. This includes an easy-to-use, web-based portal to all of the volunteering assignments available to you.

A chance to improve lives and make a difference. This is probably the most attractive of all of the perks that come with being a part of the Neighbor Network program. Our volunteers love the fact that they get to be instrumental in improving the lives of seniors who live where they do.

Another great feature of being a volunteer is that you get access to a Volunteer Coordinator who is available to answer all of your questions.  Have a unique talent or skill that you think could be used to help a senior in Douglas County? Great! You can work with your Volunteer Coordinator  to pursue whatever volunteer work feels most suitable for you.

Ask how your business or organization can become involved with a group opportunity!
