Aging Resources of Douglas County provides door-through-door, relationship-based transportation services for people over age 60. Aging Resources staff operates two wheelchair-accessible vehicles and runs a dialysis route three days per week. Our volunteer driver program, called Neighbor Network, has screened and trained volunteers all throughout Douglas County. Members of this program are referred to as our Neighbors. Volunteers use their personal vehicles to drive their Neighbors to medical appointments, local errands and social outings. To receive transportation services, please apply to Become a Member.
