The heart I have for seniors came when we began the journey of caring for my parents and realized that these precious humans who raised us now needed assistance and care. There began the journey of finding resources.  Grateful to be part of such a compassionate organization like Aging Resources

​Americans love their independence and ARDC honors their feelings, making it possible for older adults to stay in their homes and be involved in their communities.  Connection with others and help with the requirements of living—meals, home help, transportation, companionship, for example—are so significant to maintaining community and a sense of well-being.  Aging Resources of Douglas County pays attention to these needs and helps to meet them.  That is why I feel it is important to serve on the Board for ARDC—to improve the lives of older adults here in so many ways.
